Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), a national construction industry trade association with more than 22,000 members, has recognized BrightFields, Inc. with the Diamond Level STEP (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) Award for 2023.

Founded in 1989 as a safety bench marking and improvement tool, STEP has evolved into a world-class safety management system that dramatically improves safety performance among participants regardless of company size or type of work.  Participating ABC member firms measure their safety processes and policies on 24 key components through a detailed questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce job-site incidents.

With six levels of STEP achievement, Diamond is the highest achievement representing the lowest rate of total recordable incidents possible.  This recognition from ABC Delaware signals the concentrated effort BrightFields management and employees have given to our safety program.
